Gift Card Holders
something special when you give a gift card this Holiday Season.
-Measure your candy bar. Our candy bar is a 7oz Giant Bar.
-Cut paper to go around bar. Attach with a strong adhesive or red tape. Our paper measured 9 1/2in. x 7 1/4in.
-Cut a piece of coordinating paper to 4 3/4in. x 7 in. Score this paper at 1 3/4 in. and 4 1/2in. (watch your pattern)-Fold up the short end of paper to make "card holder" part. Only add adhesive on the 2 short sides.
-Fold larger part down to cover gift card and attach to the front of your candy bar. -Tie your ribbon around the candy bar so it looks like a package.
PURSE GIFT CARD HOLDER
- Cut a piece of pattern paper 6in x 7in and score in half.
-Use Tim Hotz Ornamental Sizzix die to cut out body of purse. Lay folded paper over die, lining up the folded edge across the bottom of the die so it will not cut this side of the purse.
- Take the Tim Holtz Mini ornamental Sizzix die and cut out 2 pieces of coordinating paper. Attach one of the die cut pieces to the front of your purse.
-Take the second die and cut out the gift card holder slits with the photo corner sizzix dies, or another corner punch or die you may have.
- Cut purse handle out of sizzix framelits. Trim purse handle to desired length. Attach to the purse on the inside-back piece of the purse. Attach your mini ornamental die with the slits in it to cover up the seam on the inside of the purse.
-You can do a velcro closure or punch 2 holes in the top/center of purse and add a ribbon to tie the purse shut.
